KLIMOVICHI DISTRICT PRODUCTION SOCIETY TO PRODUCE KITCHEN SETS
IN Q4 2003
Klimovichi district production society (the town of Klimovichi, Mogilev region) in April-May 2003 plans to produce kitchen sets, Elena Bukinich, economist of the company, told our correspondent. Expectedly, the sets will consist of 5 items: 4 stools and a table. The price is pre-set at BLR 150,000 including VAT. Pilot production includes 10 kitchen sets. Raw materials are obtained from domestic producers, the ready-made goods are sold on the home market. Klimovichi district production society was formed in 1979 and employs 80 people. Trade volumes in 2002 totalled BLR 955,800,000 in fixed prices.
KLIMOVICHI SOIL GETS SCANNED
In 2003, unitary enterprise Project Institute Mogilevgiprozem plans to finish the handling of materials on field soil survey and laboratory analyses, Galina Pavlova, head of soil party, told our correspondent. According to the source, today copies of soil maps are being developed and kinds of soils defined in accordance with areas they favour. Ms. Pavlova said, in 2001-2002 a soil survey was carried out, covering 73,620 hectares of agricultural companies of Klimovichi district. The previous land survey was held in 1983.
LAND STOCK IN KLIMOVICHI DISTRICT MAKES 5,899 HECTARES
Land stock for plots redistribution makes 5,899 hectares in Klimovichi district, Mogilev region, our correspondent learnt from head of land resources department of Klimovichi district administration Dmitri Gresev. According to him, land stock has grown by 109 hectares by written-off agricultural croplands. Land reserve also includes amortization lands and areas allocated for forests. In 2003 land stock acquired new territories: areas whch used to belong to Defense Ministry (357 hectares), plots of six farms (106 hectares), Oster and Sozh areas (184 hectares), territory of Klimovichi agricultural college (160 hectares) and peat mines of Savskoye and Volt JSC companies (55 hectares).
REGION REFORMS AGRICULTURAL COMPLEX
Mogilev region programme of agricultural reformation projected to reorganise 113 agricultural companies by February 1, 2003. As of February 25, 115 state and collective farms were transformed, Tamara Aktryseva, deputy head of of the committee for agriculture and foodstuffs of the region administration, told our correspondent. Around 104 agricultural organizations turned into production co-operatives, open and closed joint-stock societies. 28 collective farms acquired a status of intraeconomic production co-operatives, etc. Ms. Aktyseva remarked, 8 agricultural companies were announced bankrupts. 10 more are undergoing readjustment. Deputy head underlined, the agricultural and processing enterprises are in the process of defining their specialisation, seek the ultimate solution of placing the production of agricultural raw materials.
KLIMOVICHI POULTRY FARM TO BUY ABOUT 37,000 HENS IN Q4 2003
By the end of Q4 2003 Klimovichi poultry farm will buy around 37,000 hens from Pridneprovskaya poultry farm (Mogilev region), informed chief accountant at the enterprise Maria Yemelyanenko. According to her, around BYR 160 million is necessary to buy poultry. Yemelyanenko noted that the farm specializes in egg-production. In January-September 2003 it got 6,930 thousand eggs, over the same period of 2002 – 6,874 thousand. BYR 642 million worth of produce was sold to trade companies in Mogilev region over the period in question. Yemelyanenko informed that at present the number of layers at the farm makes 47,559. |
